B.a.b.s.ers,

another holiday season is nearly upon us. Even though we're not done with halloween yet, it's time to start planning the 5th annual babs toy drive.
Please donate a new, unwrapped gift for a child who might otherwise receive nothing for Christmas.
As always, we will be utilizing the '50 dinner as our jumping off point. 11:00 - 1:00 for our traditional breakfast/lunch. Then a short parade to a local firehouse for the drop off and a brief tour.

Visitors and guests are welcome.

It looks like we'll be going to fire station #3 this year. I'm waiting for conformation because for some reason they don't plan their event schedule this far in advance. (cough bull****)
I doubt there will be any problems. They actually remembered b.a.b.s when I called them this year. It would seem that after all of our effort and support, our annual contribution has become noticed and *expected*! Way to go b.a.b.s.!!!
I'll post up if there are any changes.

In order to kick things off early this year I will be putting a collection box out at the simpson's bbq next weekend. If you plan on attending, please consider bringing an new unwrapped toy or game. See the bbq post for time/date/address info.

Does #3 have a drill tower? It would be cool if they could put on a drill demo. Hopefully they will be in-house while we are there.

2 years ago we went to a station that had a tower. Which station as that?

That was station #7. On south grimmer blvd.
Sorry, no training tower at station #3.

I'm still waiting for that call back from ffd....

we are confirmed on ffd's calendar.

Last week karen and I put out the collection boxes at the 50s dinner. Their reaction was "you're gonna need a bigger box".

I have to work Saturday . But May get off early and would like to try to hook up with every one . Colud you post a rough schedual of events and time frame .] :icon_sweatdrop: thanks
 
Sigh. Wish I can make it. In middle of finalizing motor swap in kevin's Scout. Along with several other projects.
