Since we all know space can be a preimum in our shops, I needed a way to easily move my axles around. I still have to have my woodworking equipment accessable while working on the Scout. I was in tractor supply a couple weeks ago and saw these "moving dollies" on sale for $20. Each. They're rated at 1000# and the castors are worth more than $20. So, I bought some.
Here's what I came up with.
The standards are 3/4 inch scrap plywood. As the photo illustrates, I worked out the height to allow easy access from my "work stool" aka - old office chair. The axles fit nice and tight in the brackets and will stay where you want them.
On another note, will somebody pm me and tell me how to make the pictures appear in the post without having to "click" on them?!?!?
