Any thought about a NV5600 to SV adapter??

Currently building a 66 travelette with 392 4-speed GM 14 & 10 bolt rear & front axles, looking to tow a 20k lb 5th wheel rv. Original (and probably current) thought is a t-36 IH 5-speed. Saw your nv4500 adapter but still not enough gears in the tranny for heavy towing.

Any chance this kit would work with a nv5600 with maybe slight mods???

This kit does not work with the nv5600.
 
I agree its a wonderful transmission was for towing but no we do not have any plans at this time for trying to adapt it behind the IH engine.
