Any luck on reman steering gear boxes?

I tried to get one locally through napa and they list one but it does not look anything like the ones that come on a Scout. I checked out other parts houses and they all have one that looks like it belongs on a GM car. I don't get it. I'm looking at the one on this site but shipping will add about another $75 to the purchase price. The napa one is only $145 but it is not even close to what I need.

$75 shipping from northern California to washington doesn't sound right unless you are next day airing it. If you want feel free to call with your shipping information as we will be glad to look into cost to ship this item to you.

I have had zero luck with rebuilding them myself and am 0 for 3 paying someone to do it.... It is not as easy as it looks....

The next box I need rebuilt I will pay Jeff to do it so he can give me a real deal warranty....

Couple years I purchased a rebuilt unit, drilled and tapped for hydro assist from Jeff, along with droping off a core. Finally installed it last year in my daily driven 74 Scout. Made a huge difference right off the get go.

I haven't inatalled hydro assist yet. But, when I get ready for it, I'm already sett up to hook up hydro lines to the gear box.

I highly recommend going through Jeff to get what you need for your steering box
