Align the drivers side door?

Any body alignment experts in here? The door on my drivers side is not properly aligned, but I'm not sure what to adjust.

The door basically doesn't close all the way flush against the body, it sticks out about 1/4" or more. The front part of the door appears to be flush and consistent where it meets the front fender, no signs of an issue on that side.

Looks like the striker is in to far and its only clicking into the first notch on the latch. To see what I mean, rotate the latch closed and it should make 2 clicks. To adjust loosen the latch and move it all the way out to the out side. Snug it down a bit and gently close the door, making sure you hear both clicks. Now gently pull on the door handle and observe the depth of the gap. Loosen the latch and move in th needed amount.
 
You nailed it! It only catches on the first click.

My only confusion is...what side do I adjust?
Door side (do I need to take door panel off, or just the three screws on the outside)?
Or
Do I adjust the latch attached to the body (that one doesn't seem to have much room for adjustment)?
