AFI for high altitudes

I am rebuilding my 345 this summer. Right now it has 650 quadrajet. I am considering changing to the afi full kit. I go to Colorado to off road frequently and have had no real success using the carb above 13,000 ft. Will the injection kit solve this problem or at least help it? Any info. Would be appreciated.

Absolutely.
I drove mine from tx to the rmihr in salida.
We traveled up a couple 14'rs and then headed down to mount blanca for a weekend trip.

I've driven mine all over the country and europe and have had no problems at all.
No flooding, no black smoke and you can still just twist the distr to add a few degrees of timing as you climb up in altitude to gain some power back.

I live in co springs, so all our trails are 10,000ft and above. I just set my base timing at 10deg btdc, the ECM compensates for it at 6000ft, and have had no problems with detonation.
