I just became the proud owner of a 1967 Scout 800. It's a three speed with a 196 four cylinder. I'm starting work on the carb. I was hoping someone could send me some pics on the carb linkage and throttle return spring sent up. Mine has had some previous owner issues. Thanks.

I don't have a 1904 carb either, but you could scroll thru the sticky threads on this carb. I would bet there are some photos in there that could help.
 
Sorry maughan, no 800 here either.

I know when I got my s2, I had to find a local small gathering of scouts and ask to take pictures of the engine bays to get all sorts of information.(including carb setup)

I'm sure someone will get you some pics......
