I think I have a electrical goriila here ? Put almost new motor in, actually freshened up job, an when I try to start it, the starter won't disengage, for a bit..it will after about 20 seconds, or if I can get battery cable off before that . The wiring is a real " cob job " from who I don't know. I've been tracing wires for most of the day, it also has a push button for the starter...which it was sticking real bad before I sprayed some kroil oil on it to help free it up. Tia, for any help at all, be really nice to get this running to see where I stand on that job....Jeff:cryin:

The best way to test that is with a remote starter button. Disconnect the small wire from the starter and hook up the remote. If it works normally then it's your wiring. If the starter still sticks then it's the starter or more likely the solenoid.
