'78 dash gauges not working

Another question about the 78 Scout that I'm resurrecting. None of the gauges on the dash seem to work. Although the ammeter does seem to sit in the middle. Can anybody help suggest where I start looking for the problem? I doubt all four senders are bad, so I assuming it's either power to the gauges themselves or something behind the dash. Any advice would be helpful. This is a great forum and thx to all the people have replied to my dumb questions so far. 😊 I really appreciate it
 
On the back of the oil/temp gauge is a voltage regulator that will frequently go bad. With a multi-meter check to see that you've got 12v coming into the regulator and 5v out. That should point you in the right direction.
 
Also keep in mind that the ammeter is in series with the battery and the alternator, so it doesn't play by the same "rules" as the other three. It has no sender.
