77 Traveler

I recently bought my first IH Scout for $900 and am looking forward to building it for off roading and camping. It's a 1977 traveler with a 345 engine, t19 transmission, and Dana 44 front and rear. The vehicle has only 93,000 orgininal miles on it and im the fourth owner. I drove it home and pulled the motor and tore it down to drop off to the machine shop. Only reason was all the oil leaks from every gasket front and rear main seals, oil pan, and much more. I have a 4" superlift to install along with brand new body mount bushings. This will be a fun project!

Second trip was a little better, but still have a few issues. The main one being the shifting of the windshield not sure if this is normal.

New tires 31 mud tires. Rebuilt the carb and installed a reman distributor with a petronix kit. Scout isn't pretty but it runs great and is perfect trial rig for Colorado springs area.
