Can't get our Scout II (the earl) to pass CA smog. It has a compression/timing issue and we don't have the time, space or money to put into it right now sadly. Willing to accept any reasonable offer. Currently registered operational, paid for at least, but no current tags. Willing to tow within 100 miles of oakland CA. It runs, but is not freeway drivable because of the lack of power. Orange, brand new gas tank, recently rebuilt carb and alternator (w/in last 3000 miles), really solid off road tires, removable top. Probably at least $2000 in parts in it, if one were to part it out. Has some rust, but not a ton, it lived out on the coast for a couple of years.
Really need to do this sooner rather than later as its in a friend's driveway, so again first reasonable offer takes it!
