Year: 1976
make: International
model: Scout 2 traveler
engine: International 345 v-8 (5.7l)
mileage: 110,000
transmission: 4-speed manual
recent work: new- tires (less than 500 miles), belts, plugs, wires, oil filter, oil, oil pan gasket, fuel filter, master cylinder, front brake cylinders, front wind shield assembly, ignition control module.
Pros: mostly original (only the side mirrors that I know of), 2nd owner, original dealer invoice, runs, passed the smog last nov. Registration is up to date, new spare, only minor work needed to get it starting good again.
Cons: difficult to start (right now), slight rust under doors, need new spring assembly to hold carburetor flap closed (sorry for the terminology but I ‘m not a mechanic) possibly needs new ignition coil or distributor, currently registered non-op, grey primer on parts after spot welding to fill holes left by original owner to hold water cans (used for surveying), slight fender damage behind rear driver side tire (caused by a blowout which is why I got all new tires, radio recently stop working.
Reason for selling: I need to sell it to pay off other bills.
The pictures are before the fender got bent and before a lot of the work was done (like the master cylinder). (International Scout 2)
let me know if you want come look at it or want to make an offer (if you are going to make an offer be reasonable)
