Hello,

my name is patrick, I'm 46, I live in belgium and I own a vw aircooled shop. I love working on cars but my greatest pleasure is to build engines...
This Travelall is not my only us car, I own a 2007 dodge ram as a winter daily driver, a 78 malibu wagon as a summer daily driver and I also have a 74 Chevy van.

I bought this Travelall in 2015 in holland, but it was previously in france (see the french license plates).

It's a 74, 392ci, automatic, power steering and brakes, airco, dana44 front and dana60 rear.

Here are the pictures:

I tried the springs but I'm not pleased with the way they sit ...
The guy who made them told me that the shackles will get into good position under load, what's your opinion ?

Springs will settle in once its all together and has weight on them. Did you ever find the vin # on frame ? Drivers side up front by front spring hanger ?

Damm , looking good ! I'm starting my one project Travelall 1974 here in holland . First the find the nessersery sheet metal parts . Like the wheel edges on the back. I already found the rocker panels .
Il been following your project :icon_cool:

Look at the last picture, above the front axle, on the side of the frame, the rectangular grey part without epoxy is the vin.
