Well we made it back to hayward with no problems.. She runs good, has good power and is smooth on the freeway. The po saaid she overheats but I saw no signs of running hot all the way back in rush hour stop and go traffic. Of course there's a few thing to do like the driver and rear windows don't roll up and the dash lights don't work.. But over all it was a steal for $200. See you guys later

On craigslist. The po didn't know anything about IH's and put a lot of money into it but needed to get rid of it.. Were taking it to the store as we speak.. Lol

Dang thats a steel for 200 bucks nice rig mayby you should take it for a cruz over to my side of the hill when im ready to host an event

That's a great deal! I had seen that one for a couple years now. It was down the street from a buddy's house. Never had time to go ask them about it though.

My loss, plus the boss probably wouldn't have liked having a third Travelall to store.

Would you happen to know where I could get my hands on a rear window motor? That seams to be the only thing that doesn't work on the old girl..

The only place you are going to find another rear window motor is from another Travelall. I'm pretty sure they are not available unless you adapt something and make it custom out of a similar sized power window motor like from an old station wagon.

I swapped one from a 73 into my 72. The motor design and wiring were different but close enough that I was able to modify the wiring and make it work like new.

See if the motor itself is damaged, if it is not visibly broken or missing, it's a motor, it can be rebuilt.

Also, check the switch, fuses, relay, and measure the voltage at the motor connector while operating the switch. Don't forget about the little switch in the tailgate, it disables the motor unless the tailgate is closed.

I know I'm getting power to the tailgate. I want to pull the motor and give it a good cleaning and see if that helps. If not ill just get it rebuilt..

Good job ramon... I was very tempted to make the trip over to redwood city myself as that deal was just too good to pass up, but I managed  glad it went to a good home. Also, if you do pull the tailgate motor out let me take a look at it as I have a pile of t-all stuff and May have one although the ones I own May be specific to 61 to 68 model t-all's, but worth a look!

Have you fixed that motor yet. I found a guy through ebay that has a motor. He still has to test it for me but I wanted to see if you still need one.
