I viewed a post for a rebuilt 727 this morning, and I can't find it was out of Scout, he wanted 400. W no takers, he also mentioned it was listed on e bay or craigs list, yet I looked on e bay and there was no such listing help I;d like to e-mail that person, also I have an tech question I want to change over to auto. Trans. Would the tail shaft be the same, for a 1100 d 4x4? Also I can get complete pu, w/ a borg-warner, all the linkage, etc. That truck has been in a field for yrs. I'll probably have to have it rebuilt. And the plus is I want a column shift, so those parts will be there. Witch tranny will be better, for the road and off? I'll have to search, for the misc. Componets if I get just a 727 tranny, which if notice are fairly easy to get online. What would you do? I'm old and don't want to shift, 4 speed, clutch, w/ new slave cyl. Has no issues, it's a t-98 I believe. I figure it's worth some'n after I convert. Shot me your thoughts, oooopinions, my regards and thanks
