71'Travelette Project

And now the decision is final, no step side...not enough room. The rear fender would hit the cab. So fleet side it will be and about a 5'6" long box. I am hoping it will look pretty good when I am done, I think it will. And no the 2x4 is not the new mount hahaha!

Started measuring today. The rear cab mount to frt box mount is 6 1/4" away. From that measurement to the rear box mount on my truck will be 5'. Going to do lots of measuring and triple checking, then hopefully cutting this weekend to shorten the box. Anyone done this before and have any tips? Been doing lots of reading, but any info would be appreciated
