69 IH pickup

Hi guys im new to the forum, hope you can help. I have a 1969 IH pickup it is a 2wd with a 304 v8 4spd. I would like to do a 4x4 conversion but I need to know what axle,t-case- adapters etc.. I need to do the swap. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Well, that is a pretty broad question. If you are looking for a stock 4x4 swap, then you need to be on the look out for a 65-73 IH donor truck. If you want to upgrade to disk brakes then I would suggest looking for a Chevy axle. You also didn't mention if it was 1/2 or 3/4 ton if 1/2 ton do you want to upgrade to 3/4 or 1 ton axles?
