I'm thinking that when I bought this truck the center link (threaded rod between the 2 tie-rods) was bent purposely to prevent the tires from burning off. Once I replaced the link, the toe-in was toed-out 4". I'm now thinking that the link fit a 2wd with the knuckles pointed to the rear. My 4wd has them pointed to the front. Should my goal be a toe-in of 1/8" and if so, is there anything wrong with shortening my existing center link?
