I have what appears to be T98A-10 Transmission. I had posted earlier that top speed on the rig was 45mph and that it acts like it needed one more gear. At the time I did not know what type of transmission was in the rig.
I have confirmed that the rig is not stuck in low range. If you put the thing in low range, it crawls.
I would like to get the thing up to highway speeds. I can find little information on this transmission so far and the books I have show T15,16 T-44,45,418,419 and 445.
What I did find is the T98A is a lower geared transmission, but I can't believe this thing ran its entire life with a top speed of 45mph.
This link says the T98 could be a T18. The only way to look is to get inside.

Thoughts?
