64 Scout front brakes, 10x2 Wagner

Hi- I'm replacing the front brake shoes on my 64 Scout. The shoes are stamped Wagner (so is the brake backing plate), measure 10x2 and both the front and back shoe are equally lined. In trying to replace these shoes, I get Wagner Z236 (or Raybestos PG 176), but both of these have a shorter front shoe. The number stamped on the old shoe is FD-43083-A but this seems to be unlisted anywhere. This is driving me absolutely nuts! Help is much appreciated!

Also, I tried to upload pics using .jpeg or .jpg format but it wouldn't upload- so help on that would be useful too, so I can upload pictures of this problem.

OK, thanks for letting me know. I'll try again after some more posting.

To give more detail on the old shoes, the lining extends to cover about 90% of both the front and back shoe. In the new shoes, the front lining covers about 70% of the front shoe, and the rear shoe is covered with about 90% of lining.

So? There should be a leading shoe and the forward shoe.
By forward shoe, I mean the leading shoe. From what I've researched, on a Lockheed system (which is what this is, I believe- Lockheed and Wagner worked together on braking systems, the leading shoe and the trailing (back) shoe have the same length of lining. I checked the brake bible on this thread to sort this out. I'm "almost" certain this is not a Bendix system, where the linings are of different lengths. There is a star wheel adjuster on my system

OK, in looking at the brake bible again very closely, it does seem that the 10" Lockheed does have different lining lengths. I do not have self adjusting brakes. I'd really appreciate it if someone can confirm my thinking, as well as the replacement shoes.

Wagner Z236 is the replacement shoe, friction length will be slightly different than the originals.
The primary/leading shoe goes in front.

Thanks 1975IH200! Looks like I made a number error in my earlier post, it's supposed to be Wagner Z326, NOT Z236. That's how I get into trouble ordering parts!
