hoping someone can help me with two separate but related issues. I have 1964 c1100 pickup with a bg241 straight six and a 3-speed column shift t-4 transmission. First of all, I just got this back on the road with a new clutch (had the whole thing rebuilt clutch disk, pressure plate and springs, replaced the bearings, and had flywheel resurfaced) last year and it drove fine for a while but now some issues are arising. When you drive the truck in reverse something is making a chattering noise especially when feathering the clutch out it will make the whole truck rattle/bounce a little. Does this mean something is going wrong with the clutch? Or is the transmission having problems? When I installed the new clutch I had to extend the linkages all the way out to get it to grab in the right spot with the pedal. This seemed backwards to how I thought I would need to adjust it. Anyone have thoughts/advice? Also, the second issue is the column shifter linkage has a lot of slop and sometimes gets stuck jammed in gear. Anyone know of a rebuild kit or how to fix this? Thanks,
