'63 travelette lift

Looking to lift my '63 c1100 about 3". What would be the best way to do this. It is 2 wheel drive, has a 304 ci v8. Thanks for the help. I've never lifted a truck before and need some input on what would result in best function, driveability for my truck. Thanks.
 
Add a couple spring leaf's an that will get u about 2" ( 2 leaf 's )--1 under the main,and 1 about 1/2 way down the pack, a bit thicker than the original 1's also. Jeff
 
Hey Jeff thanks for the info. Someone told me that adding springs to the front would make it hard to drive? I don't understand why but like I said earlier I've never lifted a truck before and don't truly understand how it might affect the steering. Is there any truth to that? Thanks.
 
Adding a leaf will make it harder riding, having the springs re-arched will raise it up and maintain a similar ride. Regardless you'll need to find a good spring shop, unless you're going to scavenge used springs from something else.
