Loooong time no IH!

Jumped back in this past weekend. Went to Binder Bash this year...first time...it was a blast. It was great to gather with "like" folks again.

Long story short...I bought a 57 A-120 with an 8.5' bed. Will be going up next Sunday to bring her home. No info on condition or history, but she looks pretty complete and solid. Not much rust and the BD240 isn't stuck. After I get it here I'll see what condition the engine is in and get it running, hopefully. It even has a title and all the badges!!!

Not much else to say till next week. I'll leave ya with some pics.

Left a 7am on Sunday to go fetch my new prize. Beautiful country here in Idaho, went off without drama. 20 hours later we pulled in at the house.

Surprises so far...the E-brake works as do the brakes, I think, the driver rear slave is just gushing fluid, trans shifts as does the Tcase. Got 4 16" split rims and 2 17" regular rims. Does anyone know if the wide 6 is made by any wheel manufacture? Working on getting some fire into the 6 so I can see what needs to be addressed.

Plan for now is to get the engine running, if it's in good shape, then brakes, electrics, and replace the floors. Then just drive it for a while till I figure out what direction to go with it.

Happy to say that the 4wd system works without any noise, it has a Detroit locker in the rear, open front that looks to be a D44. Next up is getting the brakes working, but that's gunna have to be after the house is sold, we will be heading back on the 5th. lota luck and a little hope and we'll be back in September, house sold, and gypsies in the motorhome......lol
