Hey I just got my new ride, a 55 r 160 its got a straight 6 engine unsure of ci tho. 7 speed manual 4 speed with a splitter
flatbed, and here are the pics

Yes I am!!!!, can you tell me what the ci of the i6 is, I know that is rated for 93 hp, no idea of the the torque tho

afaik, the sd 240 was a likely power plant for '55 and they were around 128-130 hp.

Look for a machined boss on the block either front or rear passenger side.

Torque is around 208 ft.lbs. @ 2k rpm.

Good news I was able to talk my way back into the r160.!!!!!!!!! Mm, did the 55's have seatbets? If not how hard to install them on steel this old??

Does anyone know what options these came with, ie ac,heat radio,(I doubt this one). Any insight would be apreicated, im picking it up on thurs just wanted to know if I have tunes or not

No seat belts, they can be added to anything.

This May be a stupid question, but can you use a power steering pump from a 345 v8 and mount it to the i6 engine to get power steering?
