I need to replace the bearing in my mall crawler. From the manual it seems pretty straight forward. Pull the bull gear, remove the the circle clip, use the puller and done.

Issue I'm having is that I'm looking online for the bearing and I'm getting a couple different part #s. Prices on the bearing are rainging from $55ish to $100+.

I need an acurate part #.
Thanks

My research shows the bearing to be a very common 6308n. What is referred to as the "wide" version. It's also much less dinero than the "narrow" version!!! Same bearing is used on teh input shaft.

Have Jeff ring up yore buddy partsmike there in Auburn, he's got 'em on his parts listings on his website.

I May have some good used ones left over from a rebuild. Can't beat the price! Give me a call and I'll take a look.

Finally got it replaced, thanks for the bearing Jeff:thumbsup:.
Still pops out of 4th gear, not as often as before, but still does it. The bearing was toast, lots of noise and would pop out of 4th if I let the shifter go. Now it's quiet and only really pops out at a low cruising rpm. Gonna try running a thicker gear oil to see if that helps.

Wondering if you ever solved you tranny issue (poping out of 4th) mine does the same thing unless I hold it, it also grinds when you let the clutch out, only from a stop though.
