T thardy New member Aug 22, 2009 #1 I found an old 345 out of a mid 70's Scout II. How good of a motor is that? It runs, so is it worth putting in instead of the 360 I have. I think it might fit better.

Robert Kenney Super Moderator Aug 23, 2009 #3 I assume the 345 is going into the 66' 800? Is it a v8 now? A non v8 chassis has a different front cross member lay out and needs to be moved to fit the IH v8 iirc. Either way I would swap in a IH v8.
