345 V8

I found an old 345 out of a mid 70's Scout II. How good of a motor is that? It runs, so is it worth putting in instead of the 360 I have. I think it might fit better.

I love the 345 that ihave. As dar as fittting in the Scout 800 it will probably just dropin ans bolt in

I assume the 345 is going into the 66' 800? Is it a v8 now?

A non v8 chassis has a different front cross member lay out and needs to be moved to fit the IH v8 iirc.

Either way I would swap in a IH v8.
