304 head interchange w/ 152

It depends on which pistons/head you currently have. There are two types which do not interchange with each other. Flat top pistons & the contoured piston. Each uses a separate style cylinder head.

They will swap if they are of the same combustion chamber design. An "e" by the 304 on the stamped id pad will only fit a 152 "e" as both have the flat top piston.

The "e" version will have a some what "d" shaped chamber while a non "e" will be round with no d shape.the non e head uses a contoured piston.
Pictured is a contoured piston used in both the non e 152 and 304. A flat top is as indicated "flat"

yes. They use the same head. The 152 is the 'right half' of the 304.
