Quote=provience;21422]michael and Jeff,
thank you for all of your help today, my carb is a 4412-2
shutterfly Please let me know if that will still work for a core towards a 2210(c). The dist and coil all check out ok with carb.
List o' things in need:
clutch and pressure plate - will give you mine for core
air filter box for 1976 w/2210
2210 carb.
At that point I should be able to bring the whole truck on down to you and we can give it a quick once-over. Please let me know what you want to do around price and time so that I can show up with CA$h
thank you,

We finally made it home last nite phillip! And two days on the back roads with no cell or I-net service means I gotta lot of catching up top do around ehre!
Thanks for taking the time to visit with us at the shop. We're all on the same page now! It's just not possible to make a plan of attack through email and forum posts without knowing the big picture and what equipment you actually still have!
And I can see in your pic that the charcoal canister is still present so that is one more item to check off the list of needed smog-stuff!
So...we'll be very happy to take your current 4412 carb in as a core against a rebuilt 2210. I have several here to get started on over the weekend and I'll have a box of those ready to ship down to Jeff late next week. I'll make certain the carb designated for you is the correct one for the "other" engine we discussed regarding smog. And it will work just fine as a daily driver for the future!
And Jeff can make up a full set of air cleaner components so this setup will pass visual smog inspection.
Then once ya get the motor stuck back in the hole and operational, ya can take it for a "test only" and see what other details might need to be addressed.
Have you located the correct vacuum hose diagram for your application? If ya need help with that ask and I'll scrounge the archives. Your existing diagram on the underhood decal May be "close", but we'll need to make the hookup as outlined for the replacement carb that you will receive.
Also...you prolly told me but I can't remember...is this rig an original California emissions package??? Was it sold /delivered new in California originally?quote=provience;21422]michael and Jeff,
