Just got back from this last Sierra Fall Rallye. It’s my third trip and I have been in regular communication with some other Bay Area binders since.

Met Dave this weekend and was talking to him about resurfacing the group and gathering interest. If he had your number and info, I’m going to be reaching out to just put us all in touch a little more. We have some awesome cars and coffee events around and easy ways for us all to meet up. There were a lot of Bay Area IHs this year and we should meet up more than just once a year!

Chris. What are some of your highlights from the Rallye?
Rallye was great. Did half of the street run on Friday to the Marshall Gold Discovery State Park in Coloma. The break there was a little too long, so I ate my lunch and went back to camp early. The evening downtown parade run ended at the IHPA shop where they put on a bbq.

The show and shine was about the same size turn out as the last years. They might have to move it to a new part of the fairgrounds if it gets any bigger. This is the first year i tried my hand at the games. Probably last place in all of them but it was fun. Won free registration to the Western Regionals in April from the raffle, already got my site booked.

The real highlight is I seem to meet a few new people every year. Growing that IH community.

"Growing that IH community".
Any thoughts of generating something new?
Remember, originally this room began as an online "club" which led to the activities.
This is a good first step marketing the "club".
Exposure is the key. For instance I used Craigslist a lot & it worked.

IF YOU BUIL.D IT, THEY WILL COME.

100% I want to step in and Dave was willing to help revive it. Love to create a newsletter, facebook group, whatever. I got a couple people interested in helping out locally. What’s peoples best form of contact?

These IHparts forums? (thanks Jeff)
Facebook?
Email?

I’m open to launching a new communication wave, hoping to reconnect all our IHs with small local meets to occasional big meets. We should have a good showing at the next sierra fall rallye in 2025.

Headed up to Cow Mountain in Ukiah with another Scout this Saturday if anyone wants to join in. Some mild trails for an afternoon to just get outside. Hit me up.

It's a very old list. There was at least 100 contacts. There still might be a few useful addresses. And, you probably already see them at the Rallye. The last time I distributed a complete e-mail list to the guys, was maybe 16 years ago....At a minimum.
Plan B. Work with Jeff's team on an awareness campaign.
