2010 SIERRA FALL RALLYE

The pay pal link is broken. For me to even find a check book is adventure. I can't even remember the last time I wrote one.

So is the fordyce trip the off road trip? In the 2nd post it talks about an off road trip
"-9-8 • the offroad trail ride has been combined with the henness trip". Does that mean the fordyce trip was canceled?

.

I passed the info onto Mike about paypal . I know it worked yesterday as bart paid .

the offroad run that randy usually leads was canceled in favor of the henness pass trip – that’s where he going .

fordyce is a separate trip that is planned & organized by the guys who run it . fordyce isn’t canceled . based on their posts, the IHSTO guys are planning on running it wed and thurs .

It is off road, on road, pavement, gravel, a bit of everything, (especially dust and silt, if the road gets well traveled). We had some rain this weekend that packed it down a bit. If you are worried about getting dirty......?????

Nope, got a new kid and she is not very tolerant of hot dusty rides in my 800

Will a stock 1010 2wd Travelall handle this trip?

The wife is not up on taking the kid along. No a/c and no real way to mount a child seat..... Unless I can follow in my 2wd Chevy truck, I guess I am out.

Lyle: I talked with scoutmaster and it should be ok. There are some parts where a little ground clearance is helpful. Just no low-riders.

Db: take the Chevy and you can leave the 800 with me for the day....:yesnod:

:yikes:

Well, the 1010 is quite low. Might have to climb into the back seat of Mike and kathy's 4x4 Travelall. It worked fine this past weekend for the ride up to paulina peak.

Due to unforeseen circumstances a large portion of the IHSTO (off road division) is not going to make the trip. A smaller contingent is still going with scaled back plans.
The current plan is to run the fordyce trail on Friday with the IHSFR group and see if we can fit the rubicon in on another day.
Do we need to sign up for the trail run or just show up?

Now I did make an assumption here, (yes I know that is dangerous). :yikes: my assumption was that kathy and Mike were planning on going on the cruise. I don't know for sure, but their Travelall is still nice to ride in. We'll decide when we get there.

Not trying to force anybody into anything.
