For sale 1977 International Scout traveler (118” wheel base) with 94,500 miles on the odometer with so reason to believe it rolled over. It has the 345 v8 motor, t19 transmission, Dana 20 transfer case, and Dana 44 front and rear axles with 3.73 gears. The Scout is a very capable off road, hunting, or daily driver that average 16 mpg on the last two road trips. It has a removable fiber glass hard top that and tail gate. The interior and vinyl seat are in great shape considering it is 33 yrs old. I have around $7,900 invested in this vehicle, but know I will not get that for it.
New parts and work done in the last 1,500 miles
• rebuilt 345 v8 stock with about 1,500 miles on it now
• rebuilt with new oil pump, water pump, rod bearings, main bearings, cam bearing, cam and lifters, timing gears, piston rings, valve job.
• new alternator, remanufactured starter
• new distributor with petronix electronic ignition kit
• new spark plugs, wires, cap, coil, and rotor
• new fuel pump, fuel filter, and plastic gas tank
• rebuilt carburetor, radiator, and new hoses and termostat
• new superlift 4” suspension lift with all new poly bushings
• new poly body mount bushings
• new ranchero 9000 shocks
• new front and rear brakes
• reinforced front spring mounts with two ¼” steel gusset plates on each side
• new windshield and seal
• five new 31/10:50/r15 tires
• alignment with two new tie rod ends
needs work
• power steering pump works fine, but leaks
• the steering gear box has a little bit of play and should be able to adjust
• exhaust system is complete but old
• rear latch assembly for tail gate is missing
