Re: 1976 Scout II - Built by IH Only North!

Still have it. I know for a fact you cannot build this same vehicle for this price.

Re: 1976 Scout II - Built by IH Only North!

Knowing what I know now, I wish I would have went this route rather than building mine ;p

Re: 1976 Scout II - Built by IH Only North!

Is this totally rebuilt? All brand new parts? No rust worries? Also, any idea what it would cost to get it lowered to it's original height. I love this Scout, but, I'm not a big fan of the jacked-up scouts. Thanks

To answer your questions:

1. No the Scout is not totally rebuilt. There are still many original parts still on the vehicle.

2. Not all brand new parts were used as many of these parts are not available new. Most were remanufactured or rebuilt.

3. Yes there are rust worries as it's an IH and it's made of steel.

4. I'm not going to give a quote on lowering this back to stock as there are plenty of other Scout II's with stock lift for sale both here and abroad. Putting this Scout back to spring under makes no sense to me.

Re: 1976 Scout II - Built by IH Only North!

automatic transmission? Interested in a trade plus cash?

pass smog

Yes the 727 transmission is an automatic and yes it is ready to pass smog. I May be interested in a trade depending on what you have to trade. Really the only thing besides cash that I am willing to trade for is guns, gold, silver or a tractor.

Almost sounds like a country song. You from CA?

C'mon down to Ismail motors.... And let us make you a deal on a slightly used Scout.

No credit, poor credit, well that's a problem.... Better just bring cash and leave the trade at home. :wink5:
