I am selling my father’s 1976 International Harvester Scout – traveler since he passed away last nov ‘08. I thought I was going to get the chance to bury him in it because he loved it so much.
He bought it and has owned it since purchasing this vehicle. As you can see in the pictures, it has the normal wear for a 33 year old car. This car runs fine and I start it every 2 weeks to make sure it starts. I do not know of any issues with the car and have taken it to the lumber yard in the last 3 months so I know it is in working condition. Meaning, there’s rust on the body and the original seat covers are torn. As far as I know, my father only fixed the original parts on the vehicle and has never needed to rebuild the engine or get a new one. He put on the authentic redwood bumper himself.
This is a IH Scout enthusiasts car ready for a good home. I am pricing it at $3,000.
