1975 International Scout 2
Basic Specs.
Engine: 345, 5.7L, V8
Trans: Automatic TF 727
SOA Axle - Rough Country lift springs - About 10" Total
Axles: stock Dana 44's, front has been "cut and turned" for SOA
Brakes: Front Disc, Rear Drum
Tires: 35" TSL Thornbirds + Full Spare (Loose)
Rims: 15" - Chrome - Manufacturer unknown
33 gal. gas tank, aftermarket.
Class 3 receiver hitch, frame mounted.
Has been a multi-year project for me, have listed what I can remember. Essentially performed a frame on restoration. Almost done but not enough time anymore. Should have ALL parts/ items needed to complete.
New/ Completed Items:
Areas of minor rust have been cut out and repaired.
Floor fully coated w/ Herculiner.
Driver quarter and tail light housing replaced.
Rebuilt top end w/ Fel-Pro and painted.
New aluminum radiator, correct for make/model.
6 point roll cage, aftermarket of some kind, backing plates under body, no frame connection.
New gauge kit and panel.
Majority of wiring redone.
Front Seat = 60/40 split bench, serape blanket upholstery.
Rear Seat = Hinged and Folding bench, serape blanket upholstery.
Alpine Stereo, 6 ½" in front and 6x9" in rear, 8" sub + Amp.
Hardtop fully restored. Insulated, built headliner added LED to front/ back.
New body bushings.
New spring perch and shackle bushings.
Upgraded front shackles / hardware.
Custom front bumper w/ brush guard and winch mount.
Warn M8000 winch, fully mounted but not hardwired. Tested and functional.
Grill Section from 1973.
Needs Finished:
Glove box sectioned for roll cage, door needs to sectioned to fit.
Heater box, switches and cables in place. Untested, condition unknown.
Have shaved side marker lights, body worked in progress.
Weather stripping needs to go back in once paint completed.
Paint: Plan is and was to do all with "rattle cans". Some panels have been completed some still need body work prior to painting.
Head lights and tail lights need to be reconnected.
Needs rear bumper + spare tire carrier. Have some different "builder options", if interested.
Probably much more to list for both sections, will answer questions as best as possible and share additional pics if available.
