It’s time to thin the herd. I have owned this truck for almost 9 years and have spent countless hours (and dollars) on getting her up and reliable for daily hauling duty.

$3,750 or obo. Willing to meet within 100 mile radius of cheyenne, wy 82001. Better yet will deliver to denver International airport and you can drive home.

392/4-speed
4x4, ¾-ton
crew cab
99% rust free

this was a northern California truck that I purchased sight unseen and drove home to wyoming. Solid and rust free minus the random scratches where surface rust might be. The floors are great, the truck didn’t have carpet and I prepped and coated the entire floor board and up the pillars with por-15 to make sure that it won’t ever rust. I placed an insulating foam pad on the floor but sadly never got around to the new carpet kit for it. The inner fenders and hood hinge areas are flawless with no rust.

I installed a 1979 Chevy hd Dana-44 front axle to allow me to have readily available and rock solid front disc brakes. Refresh on the axle before installed. New rotors, calipers, pads, lines, greased bearings, fresh blood, etc. I had a custom drag link built and stock steering arm reamed to use Chevy 1-ton tie rod ends. This was all done right with a new master cylinder for disk/drum applications and a wilwood adjustable proportioning valve to fine tune the rear. Great pedal feel and stops the truck with a loaded trailer with ease!

A barn fresh 392 was installed with 42k miles on the clock. Great compression, no valve train noise, doesn’t burn oil and runs like a stallion. It has a square bore 4 barrel intake with edelbrock carb on top. I put all new gaskets on it before the transplant and a fresh 11” clutch.

Newer dual exhaust with “h” balance pipe and glass packs. Exhaust tips turned down at rear corners of bed for drone free highway runs.

Custom built 40 gallon fuel tank in between the rear frame rails and removed the gas bombs under the driver/passenger seats. I frenched in a fuel filler door in the bed side from a 1980’s Ford Bronco. The square design fits the d-series truck to a tee and unless you know binders, you would think its factory. Also a new pro-comp fuel gauge and sending unit.

Interior has Ford expedition power seats. The exterior has a rattle can paint job, which is pretty nice considering. The body has usual dings and dents of a 40 year old binder, but is a perfect candidate for some love at a body shop. Weld racing forged aluminum wheels with hancook dynapro load range e tires. I have spare parts that will go with it.
