I have a 1973 scout 2 have owned it for about 12 years now and has been garage kept since I've owned it. It has a 345 small block v8 with an automatic 727 trans and a stock dana tcase. Runs and drives excellent. Lots of work has been done over the years.
Here's a List of whats been done
1.Driver and passenger floors replaced.
2.Bed metal replaced.
3.All of exterior Body was taken to bare metal. Dents and dings pulled out. Body work professionally done and shot with ppg primer surfacer. Including hood, front fenders, tailgate, exterior doors, roll bar and most of hard top. All Straight as an arrow.
4. All bad metal cut out from rockers and replaced which wasn't much.
5.gas tank refurbished new sending unit and new evap system.
6. Front 44 swap with full disc brake conversion including brake lines new calipers, power booster with Proportioning valve setup. Stops on a dime.
7. All new rear brake drums, shoes, spring kit all done.
8. Carter 4 barrel carb with air cleaner.
9. Brand new kwik full wiring harness and was professionally installed by IH North and all gauges work!
10. All new suspension new shackles shocks, springs 4.5 inch lift I believe.
11. Driveshafts refurbished with new ujoints.
12.all hardware has been replaced to grade 8 or stainless.
New body mount bushings not installed yet.
13. Interior was seam sealed was shot with a rino line kit.
14. New stainless steel magnaflow exhaust.
I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting. This scout just needs to be finished up its very close and there is no rust! Its in very good condition! It needs paint, glass put back in tires and seats recovered thats about it and bunch of little stuff. Top end of the engine was supposedly rebuilt by the previous owner but dont have paperwork on that. It runs extremely strong and shifts and stops great. I have almost everything part wise to finish it! Including new and used parts. All glass, new custom fab bumpers, door panels, top panels, top back hatch all new headlights, taillights, marker lights, new mirrors, brand new full upholstery kit still in the box. Bunch of new rubber including new windshield gasket. And much more. I can provide a full detailed list of exactly what needs to be finished. I'm asking $18,500 obo ill negotiate a little but pretty firm. Please contact Joe at 530-210-6031 with any questions and ill answer them to the best of my ability. Serious inquiries only please. Cash only no trades. It has a clean California title and is also located in Auburn California and is currently registered and smog exempt. Will need to be towed along with all parts.
