1973 1310, sitting for awhile, what to do?

It sat because it was showing symptoms of no fuel. Hood was not open the whole time. We had the carb rebuilt, new battery, fuel filter, checked the fuel pump for output, did the gas in a jar test for sediment/seperation, all very good. About to put the carb back on, but what else do we need to do/lube before we run it (assuming hopefully it starts)?

How long is awhile? If a year or more has gone by, the lubrication system should be pre-primed before the engine is turned over, but I'm thinking maybe that ship May have already sailed.
