1971 International Harvester Scout, 800B model. The engine is a stock 232 6cyl, with 3spd gearbox, runs well. I bought this rig almost 2 years ago and have not done a whole lot to it. I had grand plans, but now don't have the resources to put into it. The rig has 15x12 black wagon wheels, 33x12.50x15 super swampers that have 9/16” tread with even tire wear. The spare is on a slightly different wheel design with a 32” BFG/at with less tread. SOA lift with stock springs. The axles are Dana 44 rear and Dana 30 front with 4.56 gears, manual drum brakes all around which are good. I inspected the axles, front and rear and they seem to be in great condition. I replaced the gaskets, fluid in both and wiper seals up front. I added rock guards to the differentials as well. All shackles have been replaced and the shackle/leaf spring bushings have been replaced as well. There is what I was told is a vw bus luggage rack on top. There is some rust in the floors, but that’s to be expected. I think this might be a comanche package because it has a two tone paint scheme and sliding rear windows in the hardtop. Asking $3800. Located in livermore, CA. Oh yeah, its got GM power steering on it as well, kinda makes it nice!
