Might be a long shot but I'm looking for a 196 to swap into my '62 Scout 80. Local to the bay area but anything within a couple hours of the bay will work.
If you're still looking for a good 196 I have one here in Vacaville. Came out of a '70 800A. It's obviously used and needs to be re,-sealed, etc., but is otherwise a decent used motor.
