Just picked this up last week. I have big plans for it, but we'll see how far it really goes.

Nice! What are your plans? I'm doing a 4x4 conversion on my '68 t'ette in chico right now. Well, as much as I can get done in 1 week visits twice a year or so from hawaii... My current plans are rebuilt 345 w/ TBI, t-36 5spd, np-202, 8 lug d-44 and matching d-60 w/ 4.10 gears. Drivetrain came out of a '69 d body t'all. Gonna get blackbirds up in wa to crank me up a disc conversion kit for the closed knuckle front.

Yeah, what a waste of $ on the chicken coopers, looks like 37's May have been the right look, as from you're post pic's the 't' looks under shoe'd. Hey we all have a budget. Jus' a wish'n someone w' some $ and design build would have advised you, and not the tire sales person' respectfully david the chricahua Scout airborne, ranger, only Scout I can depend on is a ranger Scout.

My plan is to swap in a 4bt cummins and Chevy one tons. I want to make a nice driver out of it. As for the coopers, they are tires I already owned. I think ybda should lay off the booze.

While the white hood with emblem would be from a 67, the front fenders with running lights and the headslight surrounds are from the 68 model. The grill could be from either year. If you plan to go taller than 33" tires, change out the rear axle shafts with shafts from a 'd' body truck. They have a different cut at the 'flange' and are heat treated better to deal with the power of the 392 engine that became available in the '69 'd' trucks. :ihih:

I will be swapping Chevy Dana 60 and 14 bolt rear, planning on running 38" tire.

I will guess it looks to be a 65 or 66 year model. What does the registration indicate? The grill is not from the 67 style. Doesn't really matter much as long as you are happy with it.

Both look great! Yet I'm curious about the 65 or 66 1100d , is it get'n custom color or factory? And look @ those bumpers, nice I thought I had some huge custom made bumpers on my 1100d p.u. Those are the nicest I've seen!

Ya seems to be a 65 and we are painting the dash and interior gray and light gray on the dash owner has not decided on color for the out side but I have been real busy with rust repair
