The boys in brown dropped off the wiring harness today

I spent about 2 hours removing all the old electrical from the head lights to the taillights.

Ill start on this tonight when the TBI kit gets here...might as well run all the wire at the same time.

What are you doing to the brakes?

It appears as if someone has already updated the axles so the brakes themselves are probably already updated.

I assume you are wanting to put in a dual circuit and a booster.

Is a dual circuit possible with that dual mc? Looks like the alternator has been upgraded to a 10si too. Wiring is a mess. Interesting combination a travelette 4x4 with a short bed. Wish I had 4x4 in my t'ette the back end is so light it spins going up my driveway. I put an anti-sway bar from a Travelall on mine and it made a huge difference in handling, like from none to some. What is the engine & tranny in it?

Got some more work done on the electrical and fuel systems. Progress has been slow since the flu is running through my house.
Most of the engine compartment is now wired and almost ready to run.

Project is held up for a couple days though. We ordered a th400 from monster transmission to install in a friends Chevy truck that arrived tonight. Hopefully we will have her installed tomorrow and then back to my truck.

Here is a couple pictures..

Starting in 1967 dual circuits became standard.

You can utilize the '67-'68 m/c and clutch slave m/c in order to get the seperated m/c and then use a standard power booster instead of a hydrovac booster.

From the color of most of the truck and the shortness of the bed I would guess that your truck spent the first few years in the service of the usaf.

For whatever reason, the military sp'ec'ed t-ettes had a shorter short bed than the standard short bed t-ette.

Yep the po purchased this truck from the navy in alaska I believe.

I actually picked up a mounting plate and the ms's for separating the brakes and clutch at coonroods last weekend off of a 68 sitting next to his golf course:icon_xd: im trying to figure out the proportioning valves(as in what I need to get) keeping in mind that I also picked up some new IH Dana's to swap in with discs up front.

Did a little bit more work on her, but ive had the flu the last couple of days. Decided to do a little poor mans machining on the intake to make it match up to the throttle body. Looks like I picked up a 93 astrovan for free. So ill be grabbing the parts to setup a hydroboost system out of it then off to be metal scrapped.

Finally got my friends Chevy out of my garage so I can get back to work on my truck. Since I was last on I ended up scoring a front Dana 60 and rear Dana 70 out of a 92 dodge, and a hydro-boost setup out of a astro van. Also the cummins 12v, but that is for later down the line. As I get back into the truck ill post some pictures and keep everyone up to date.
