1965 scout 80 buildup

Power washed all the oil off the block soon after and my distributor went to shit. Installed a new hei new wires and plugs will get pics soon. Next project is the exhaust so it will be above the front springs not underneath. Should be doing this next month. Where do most guys install there muffler? I'm thinking right under the rear seat area is this a good spot or will I run into clearance problems when the truck is flexed out?
 
Nice lookin Scout! Thats sweet your (girlfriend?) to work on it! My gf and sisters dont want anything to do with my Scout lol.
