New to the forum and brand new to me 1963 Scout 80 4x4 owner - I’ve got almost no clutch- when I depress the pedal, goes to the floor- can get it to disengage if I pump it but it’s intermittent (sometimes I can get it into gear after a few pedal pushes, but then goes slack again)- upon inspection and removal of slave cylinder and mounting bracket it appears that the bracket has been hitting the skid plate - and then upon further inspection, it’s been very poorly welded back together at some point and shows wear both where it contacts the skid plate and also on the topside of the bracket - the slave cylinder itself is also loose while the bracket and clamp are tight- all of the replacement mounting brackets I’m seeing appear to be flat, whereas mine is angled, I suppose so as not to contact the skid plate - looking for advice !! Will attach some photos- thanks for your expertise -
