1963 IH 1200 - Tire size?

Hello all,

I am trying to figure out what tires I can put on this truck. It's got split rims and ridiculously large snow tires on the rear right now.

I've been calling around and I found a couple shops that will work on split rims but they want tire sizes. I don't think the tires that are mounted are the correct tires (front & back)

how can I find out what the tire size should be?
 
They replaced two tires and found that the bead was severely damaged on a 3rd rim. They threw on a used tire for an extra $40.

When I went to pick up the truck, the transmission shifter had way too much play and I couldn't get it in gear. I complained to a mechanic and without thinking twice, he took unscrewed the bottom panel and unscrewed the cap at the base of the shifter. He pulled out the shifter and we saw that the shifter pin was broken badly. He disappeared in the shop for about 20 minutes and came out with a replacement pin.

We talked about the International trucks and he said when he drove one, he always carried spare shifter pins.

He put it back together and it shifts like a champ now. Best of all, there was no charge for the pin replacement!
