1962 Loadstar 1700

I recently bought a 1962 Loadstar 1700. Serial # 17000sb309849F . How can I find out what engine is in this truck? It has a V8 but what one? Can anyone help me to either how to find an engine serial #? Or how to find which engine it is. Thanks!!!
 
I've got a Loadstar 1700 too. Mines a '73. The best way to tell is to look on the boss above the fuel pump where the displacement is stamped. Next best is the HP rating on the door post. Look for other posts here to see some pics of where this boss is. I don't know if you'll be able to see it on a Loadstar with the engine in.
