New plugs, cap, rotor, wires, points, condenser, fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel cell.

A sloppy distributor can't maintain a proper dwell angle. This is especially problematic with breaker points. Electronic conversion modules like Pertronix can bandaid the issue to a certain extent, but the only true fix is to have a distributor that isn't worn out beyond factory specs. You may have fuel delivery/mix issues as well, but it's going to be tough to know for sure as long as your igntion system is suspect.
