1955 IH Fire engine - Free!

Was running fine 12 years ago when parked. The scrappies have removed the radiator and some other parts. Looks like a rd450 engine 30k on the clock, open cab. Located in hopland, CA. See hopland fire protection district in mendocino county, California For a picture of the truck. Some one save this fine old war horse from the scrap yard.

Yes, I volunteer sometimes and tomorrow is work day. I'll go by and see the museum.

Might try the hall of flame in phoenix az.

They have the nicest collection of antique fire trucks in the country, and are always restoring more.

Phoenix is close enough that they May be interested.
