I'm doing a valve job on a 1967 Scout 800 with a 152 engine. Does the cam need to be in a specific position when I install the valve train?
On a 196 the manual states that the leading edge of the pulley weight should be at the 0 degree Mark on the timing indicator before installing the valve train to the head.
On my 152 there appears to be pulley weights on opposing sides of the pulley, so I'm confused as to where the weights should be in relation to the timing indicator or if there is another method to correctly position the cam.
