1510 MHC trans swap

1972 28ft avco motorhome on a ihc 1510 178" w.b., v-392 t-409 borg warner trans. With emergency brake on rear of tran. Looking for a t-407 (727 tran out of a late 1510 or 500 that has the emergency brake on the rear also.
 
Appreciate the response, however the tranny out of a Scout does not have provisions on the rear for an emergency brake mount. I need a transmisson either out of a 1510 or a 500 that has the emergency brake set up on the tail of the transmisson. I would also think any 1310,or 1510 motor home chassis would have same. Thanks

Autos were not on the 1510/500 option list. I don't think they were available on the ms 1510 either so you need one from a mhc1510.
 
I know ryder had a bunch of either 1510's or 500's as I was a service manager back in the early 70's at a company location in illinois. And they came in for warranty work at times. It May have been that they were special ordered just for them. You are correct in that I have not run across any other since and finding a 1310, 1510 mhc chassis is rare. The only other one I found had the same transmission as mine.
