1310 4x4 One Ton. Master Cylinder dead

Hey, so here is the deal. I keep on buying new master cylinders for my rare 1310 ihc one ton 4x4 truck. I buy them at napa auto parts.
Everything is made in china now. I had to take back 2 of them already they came from the factory with rust in them. Blown seals, the works.
I am tired of my foot going all the way to the floor. My rear brakes will 'lock up ' sometimes and that is all that I have.
I am not losing fluid. The wheel cylinders are all dry.
I think this one also has a blown o ring or seal in the master cylinder.
Lately my foot has been going all the way to the floor. And I am not loosing fluid at and line joints or at the wheel cylinders.

So here is one of my questions, where can a person buy a good quality master cylinder that is of higher quality than what you get at napa, or o rielly's. Etc.?
Does anyone in the usa make a good quality aftermarket master cylinder?

Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

vehicle is a:
1972 ihc 1310 series one ton truck, 4x4. 345 v8, 4 speed manual, w/new process transfer case, Dana 70's on the front and 70's on the back.
Drum brakes on all 4 wheels.
 
Are your brakes manual or vacuum assist?

For master cylinders, it looks as though crapa is label-slapping a-1 crapdone products, with only two offerings for your application...a low-cost re-man and a higher-cost new. Unfortunately, you're going to encounter the same issue with most any of the cookie-cutter chain stores where the current mo seems to place a higher priority on the selection of air-freshener and beef jerky than quality, affordable auto parts offerings. That's the sad state of the retail auto parts industry in america.
From what I can tell, raybestos brand master cylinders May Still be the genuine, made in usa article, but I can't be 100% certain. I think wagner brake stuff is now being made overseas. I don't know about dorman brake products.

While the ihon website does not list masters for the fullsize rigs, it May not hurt to give them a call tomorrow just to see what they might be able to do for you. Other than that, there are a couple web-related avenues you could investigate for this item.
 
Ihon does sell master cylinders. Raybestos I believe.

Vanco brakes might be an option. They May have a mc that is not hydro boosted. I have been looking at thier hydro boost brake setup for the scouts.
 
The website does have several listings for Scout masters, but as I stated, none for the f/s. A phone call is your best bet.
 
Well, I called summit racing. They suggested wilwood, but they don't make anything for drum brakes, just disk.
So then they suggested dorman brand.
So I went to dorman's website and found this part #m36358 (specifically for ihc 1310 4x4)
and sure enough, summit carried it , so I ordered it, $67 with shipping and handling.
Well, dorman's site says that the master cylinders are all new , not remanufactured, like what napa sells.
So this should be better. I'll see.

Ps turns out it is a direct cross over # for GM master cylinder for some of their trucks too. No surprise to me, I knew that my brake shoes where GM crossover also.
 
Thanks everyone, for the info. I'll give a report back once I get the new dorman brand of master cylinder on and get it all bled out and hooked up. Boy am I looking forward to this.
